Question by Ixi: Is this dream "character" a spirit guide, symbolism, or just a random character?
I've asked this question before, but would like to get more opinions on it.

I'm not big into reading meaning in dreams because I view dreams as being a big jumbled mess of thoughts. But I do not rule out some "paranormal" things like guardian angels (Christianity) and spirit guides, which many consider to be a part of shamanism.

I do not see this character in my dreams anymore, but not to long ago a black camel with fairly long fur (yes, very odd) has appeared in two separate dreams at two different days. Both times he has been a source of comfort in stressing dreams. But all he has done is lay down and allow me to lean against him.

ok. with all due respect, i ask this question with direction to those who actually have contact with spirit guides, and christians. i apologise to sceptics or atheists who do not believe in this as i really do want to see how spirit guides can possibly seen as "evil".

ok. to start off, i'm sure christians acknowledge the existance of angels, and how they help us and try to contact us everyday of our lives. are you aware that you fundamentalists are classifying all etheral beings as demons?

with no malice intended, i ask: "do you honestly think angels who guide us with great benevolence, are really demons in disguise? do you really think demons would even help humans? i've seen many fundamentalists disregard all things "spiritually healing" as demonic; and i sincerely wish to know why you would classify God's messengers as misleading evil entities."
again, i humbly ask for atheists or sceptics to miss out; not because you do not believe in this, but because all your answers are most likely going to be the same.

Question by Will Clement: Is there anyone out there who knows anything about animal totems or spirit guides?
(Trollers, fundamentalists, atheists and Jesus freaks, though I value your opinions I neither want nor need them at the present time... so shoo!)

I have a Red Fox totem who always appears to me whenever I go into a state of meditation, but he acts strange. I read somewhere that your animal totem should always be willing to get close to and I have read stories of people who commonly play with their totems, but he always keeps his distance. Also, when he speaks to me, its always hard to understand and whatever I can understand is always very cryptic. I was wondering, is this normal behavior for fox totems, or is it that I haven't fully accepted his presence and his behavior is a result of this? I also was wondering if anyone with fox totems could tell me a little bit about how their totems behave so I have something to compare my totem to.

I have heard of spirit guides and dream guides. I'm not sure if I get the difference. If someone delivers important information to you in a dream, are they considered to be a dream guide? I was wondering also about an incidence in a dream I had.

I had a dream recently and I'd heard of dream guides before. In my dream, I attained some lucidity. Not the best, but there was apparently some. I told him, "This is a dream isn't it? Yes, this is a dream!" Or something like that. Realizing this, and realizing he'd just given me a message that might be rather important, I recalled what I'd heard of dream guides and asked him while I had the chance, "What's your name?" We extended our hands at this moment to shake each others hand, but I don't recall his name and I don't know if he even told me his name. I do recall afterwords walking away from him and soon getting the same message from a different man, whose name I didn't ask for.

we have all seen these things repeated often on YA and elsewhere. this is your chance to set the record straight. are these things native teachings? any tribe at all? what is your understanding of these things? where did this come from? what do you want to say to the non natives who insist on telling you what you believe?
