No nation on earth, apart from Israel, has a greater spiritual heritage than America. The first thing pilgrims did when they landed in the new world was to kneel and pray.
On a cliff overlooking that spot a statue has been erected. On the base are written the words, "Law, Morality, Freedom, and Education." On the granite shaft above stands a figure representing faith-and open Bible in one hand and the index finger of the other lifted heavenward to God.
To preserve our great nation will requite the same kind of faith in and devotion to the almighty God. The scriptures warn, " the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God" Psalm 9:17.When nations forget God they eventually wind up on the dust heap of history. Why is this so?
God is the foundation for moral values.
God is the Basis of Human Worth.
God is the source of National security.
